GUO Wenjin

ShangHai Ballet Principal Dancer

GUO graduated from the Shanghai Dance School’s Ballet Major in 2018, and joined Shanghai Ballet in 2020.

Repertoire credits include: principal roles in The White-haired Girl, and Giselle; solos and leads in Swan Lake (Grand Version, Derek Deane), and Le Fantôme de L'opéra(Derek Deane); performed in Bright Red Star (ZHAO Ming), The Burning Youth (LIU Ligong), The Nutcracker (Shanghai Grand Theatre Version, Derek Deane), The Lady of the Camellias (Shanghai Ballet Version, Derek Deane), etc.

Selected award credits include: Silver Award of Junior Division in the 4^th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition (2017); Third Prize in the 46^th Prix de Lausanne (2018); Second Place in the Youth American Grand Prix (2018); and Bronze Award of Junior Female Division in the 6^th Shanghai International Ballet Competition (2018); Gold Award of Group Ballet Division in the 2^nd International United Cloud Dance Competition (2021).
