Xu Jingkun
ShangHai Ballet Principal Dancer

XU Jingkun graduated as a Ballet major from Shanghai Theatre Academy Associated Dance School in July 2017. In October 2017 to December 2018, he studied abroad at The Australian Ballet. He joined Shanghai Ballet in February 2019.
Repertoire credits include: principal roles in The White-Haired Girl, Giselle,Le Fantôme de L'opéra(Derek Deane),Follow the Light (WU Husheng), A Sigh of Love (Bertrand d’ At), Swan Lake (Grand Version, Derek Deane);important roles in The Nutcracker (Shanghai Grand Theatre Version, Derek Deane); participate in The Last Mission of Marco Polo (José Martinez), Bright Red Star (ZHAO Ming), The Lady of the Camellias (Shanghai Ballet Version, Derek Deane), and The Burning Youth (LIU Ligong); performed solo dance Insects Awaken (WU Husheng), one-act ballet Three Shades of Blue, Lost Star (WU Husheng), etc.
