ZHAO joined Shanghai Ballet after graduating from the Beijing Dance Academy in 2015.
Repertoire credits: principal roles in The White-haired Girland Giselle; important roles, solos, and leads in The Lady of the Camellias (Shanghai Ballet Version, Derek Deane), Jane Eyre(Patrick de Bana), The Sleeping Beauty (Shanghai Ballet Version, Derek Deane), Bright Red Star (ZHAO Ming), The Burning Youth(LIU Ligong), and The Nutcracker (Shanghai Grand Theatre Version, Derek Deane), Le Fantôme de L'opéra(Derek Deane), etc; performed in The Butterfly Lovers (XIN Lili), The Last Mission of Marco Polo (José Martinez), Swan Lake(Grand Version, Derek Deane), etc.
Selected award credits include: Grand Prix of Contemporary Dance Senior Division in the 1st International United Cloud Dance Competition (Blossom Season, 2021).
