ShangHai Ballet First Principal Dancer National First-class Dancer

Entering the Shanghai Dance School in 2007, QI became a dancer of Shanghai Ballet after her graduation in 2014.

Repertoire credits include: principal roles in The White-haired GirlEchoes of Eternity(Patrick de Bana), Hamlet(Derek Deane), Coppelia (Pierre Lacotte), GiselleSwan Lake (Grand Version, Derek Deane), Jane Eyre(Patrick de Bana), A Sigh of Love(Bertrand d’At), The Last Mission of Marco Polo(José Martinez), The Butterfly Lovers(XIN Lili), The Burning Youth (LIU Ligong), The Sleeping Beauty (Shanghai Ballet Version, Derek Deane), and The Lady of the Camellias(Derek Deane); important solos and leading dances in The Nutcracker (Shanghai Grand Theatre Version, Derek Deane) and Bright Red Star(ZHAO Ming).

Selected award credits include: Frist Award in the 3rd Beijing International Ballet and Choreographer Competition (2015); Gold Award in the 5th Shanghai International Ballet Competition (2016); Best Female Dancer of the 10th China Dance Lotus Award (2016); Rising Leading Dancer of the 30th Shanghai White Magnolia Stage Performance Award (2020).

Other credits include: China Youth Wusi Medal (2017); Excellent Communist Youth League Member (2017); selected into Shanghai Literature Training Program of Shanghai Literature and Art Award (2019).
