| September 30, Shanghai Ballet staged Coppelia of Paris
Opera Version at Shanghai Majestic Theatre. When premiered in 2002
at Shanghai Grand Theater, Coppelia was well received by
the audience. In 2002, the company toured to USA and presented 35
shows of Coppelia. In 2003, Coppelia was staged
in three big festivals in Spain, the Festival de Peralada, Festival
International de Santander, Festival de Madrid and was highly praised
by the media. Coppelia was performed in Shanghai as a program
of Shanghai Ballet 25th Anniversary Season Series which was a present
for the citizen in National Day holidays. |
