Sino-France Co-produced Ballet A Sigh of Love
Gives a taste of Shanghai Style

The Artistic Director of Shanghai Ballet, Xin Lili said that she had this idea of creating a ballet: A Sigh of Love at the beginning of 2006. For this, she especially read many old Shanghai’s documents and watched Wong Kar-Wei’s movie In the Mood for Love…. The ballet uses a language of both the classical and modern ballet…the music sounds a bit of Jazz at first, but with attention you will notice that it still keeps the old Shanghai’s style.
